I loved the location of the Tampik’s waterfall as I felt like the location was only the time we got to see real and nature side of Janda Baik and how they truly lived; the service was amazing and everyone was very attentive!

The air, thick with the scent of wet earth and wild ginger, felt different. We’d been in Janda Baik for a few days, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, but it wasn’t until the trek to Tampik’s waterfall that the place truly revealed itself. Standing there, mist on my face, looking up at the cascade, I realized this was the real and nature side I had been looking for.

Up until that point, everything had felt curated, but this felt raw and authentic. It was in the lush trails and the quiet simplicity of the surrounding area that we finally got a glimpse of how they truly lived—away from the resorts, connected directly to the land.

What made the experience even more special was the seamlessness of the day. Every step of the way, the service was amazing. It wasn’t just professionalism; it was genuine care. From the local guide who pointed out the tiniest orchids to the support staff who made sure we were comfortable and well-fed, everyone was very attentive. They anticipated our needs before we even voiced them.

That combination—the breathtaking, untouched natural beauty of the waterfall and the perfectly executed, attentive service—created a profound memory. It didn’t just feel like a sightseeing trip; it felt like a moment of genuine connection to the place. It’s the kind of experience that makes you immediately want to return.
